Color Studio Pro Color Rush Lipstick in 'Vixen' - Review & Swatches

I have been using Color Studio Pro's products for quite some time now and I must say that they have impressed me so far. Today I am going to talk about one of so many gorgeous shades of Color Rush Lipstick Collection by Color Studio Pro.


Color Rush Lipstick:
Color Studio Pro says: 'Instant color release creamy texture. Glides easily for smooth, even spread. Ideal formulation for dry lips because of hydrating effect. Best shades for bold glamorous effect. Enriched with vitamins and essential oils to protect and nourish your lips.'

Product Description & Packaging:
This lipstick comes in a plastic casing. It comes in 18 beautiful shades. This particular shade is called 'Vixen'.

Pros & Cons:

Pros:

• Nicely pigmented.
• Creamy texture.
• Moisturizing.
• Sheer to full coverage.
• Glides on to the skin smoothly.
• Does not bleed or feather out.
• Stay for 3-4 hours (without meals)
• Has almost no scent or taste.
• Non irritant.

Cons:

• Gives streaky application sometimes if applied directly from the tube.

Overall Experience:
I wasn't really a lipstick person until I tried Signature Collection Lipsticks by Luscious Cosmetics (read review & swatches here). All I want from a lipstick is a staying power of at least three hours, especially if I am going for full coverage lips, less or no scent/taste & no bleeding around the lips at all.

Color Rush Lipstick has all the qualities I need and want from a lipstick. When I saw this color and swatched it, it looked like a nude/pink shade with peach tone. But when I wore it on my lips, it looked whitish. It looked really bold & bright and I don't go for such lips in routine so I mixed it with a flesh color lip pencil and it looked better. It also works great if used with a maroon or red lip pencil or lipstick to create the ombre effect.

This shade can be mixed with so many other lip liners, lip glosses & lipsticks, because it is creamy, moisturizing and hence mixes easily with other mediums.

Overall, I am happy with this lipstick and I am looking forward to buy a few shades in this collection on my next visit to Pakistan. I also want to say that Color Studio Pro has made me their big fan by giving such great quality and prices.

Recommendation:
I won't say that you should get this same exact shade but if you are looking for a long lasting and a really good quality lipstick, do get a few shade from Color Rush Collection. You will love everything about this product.
