Product Description & Packaging:
This is an exfoliant that is suitable for all skin conditions and is rice based. It contains 75g of product and the product is in the form of a fine powder with tiny particles in it. The body is made up of plastic. Inside the cap there are two small openings which are used to put the powder on the hand. It has an expiry of 24 months.
This product came to me in a box and the product reached me safely in about 2 days.

Pros:
- Suitable for all skin conditions.
- Suitable for daily use.
- Contains really tiny particles which scrub the skin a bit but do not irritate or feel harsh on the skin at all.
- Removes all the oil, dust, residues etc. from skin and leaves the skin with a squeaky, fresh and smooth feel.
- Does not contain artificial fragrance or color.
- Keeps the oiliest skins oily-free for 6 hours and more (humid weather).
- Improves the texture of the skin if used regularly.
- Does not give tight feel on skin after wash.
- No breakouts at all.
- Helps to get rid of blackheads if used regularly.
Cons:
- Should come in smaller packaging as well.

Wet your face first and then put about a half teaspoon of product into wet hands. Rub your hands together and it will create a leathery paste as shown in the picture above. Apply on face and massage in circular motion for about one minute and then rinse with water.
Dermalogica has advised to avoid the eye area but I use it just like a regular face wash and it has not affected my eyes at all. However, I don't massage on my eye area for more than a second or two. I use it daily in the morning and night for approximately 30 seconds each time and sometimes I use it before I apply makeup.

Overall Experience & Recommendation:
I have been using this product for about three weeks now. Just so you know, I have got really oily and sensitive skin, prone to black heads, bumps on my forehead, blemishes and breakouts. So I have to be careful when it comes to the skin care products and makeup that I choose to use for daily routine. I use this Daily Microfoliant every morning and it keeps my skin shine free for more than 6 hours with all the house chores and humid weather. Sometimes I use it before I apply makeup, and I have noticed that it keeps my face shine free for longer hours now. It brightens up the skin but that is hardly visible, I would say that it gives more of a glow and fresh look to the face and I know it is a lifesaving product when I have some unexpected guests. Just a quick wash with this Daily Microfoliant and my skin looks nicer.
It has tiny particles like the scrubs usually have but these are just way too tiny to be harsh on skin. I cannot use a scrub on my cheek for more than a few seconds as it irritates me but I use this exfoliant by Dermalogica just like I use a regular face wash. It kind of removes that dead skin, dust, residues, oils etc. really smoothly and softly on daily basis and do not let them build up to clog pores and create blackheads and also do not let the dead skin clutter up on the face.
Usually, I use it for about 30 seconds in the morning. And as I like to wash my face before I go to bed, I use this product again in night for about 30 seconds as the recommended usage is one minute once a day. I haven't had any breakouts or irritation so far instead it has been three weeks and I did not feel the need to scrub my face because it cleans up the debris from the skin on daily basis. I also loved one more thing about this product which I usually don't find in other face washes or daily deep cleansing foams, my skin does not feel tight after the wash. Usually when I use a face wash, my skin feels tight around the jaws, cheeks and forehead and I end up using a moisturizer which makes my skin shiny sooner than it should get.
I always like to use white towel, fragrance free tissues and especially daily skin care products that are either fragrance free or have really light fragrance because intense fragrances give me allergy. This Daily Microfoliant has no artificial color or fragrance which is a great thing for people with sensitivity and allergies.
The price can be a bit turn off for some people but I believe that if you use this product once a day, it can last you for really long.
Overall I am really happy with this product and if you have sensitive skin, allergies to colors and fragrances or you think you need a really light exfoliant that will improve your skin texture and keep your skin look fresh for long hours, you should get this. Just to summaries the benefits I got by using this product:
- Shine free skin for long hours.
- Less bumps on my forehead.
- Reduces the flakiness on the face especially around the nose.
- Improved my skin texture as I get to massage my face daily when I use it.
- No itchiness or breakouts even though it exfoliates on every use.
- Reduced my blackheads and they are not really visible.
- Because of no colors and fragrances, I don't get a series of sneezes after I wash my face. =P
