Lipsticks by Misslyn:
They say:

  • 'Immerse yourself in the color palette of these bright, creamy lipsticks. Let yourself be carried away by these brilliant colors, according to the motto #popupyourlips. The airy texture adheres to your lips like a second skin and can barely be felt. Give your lips that something extra with the matching lipstick for your makeup.
  • Pleasantly nourishing effect
  • Abundant moisture thanks to coconut oil
  • Dermatologically tested for skin compatibility & suitable for sensitive skin'

Product Description & Packaging:
The lipsticks come in a plastic wrap and not a box. The tube packaging is all plastic which is pretty high quality and all black just looks so sleek. The cap shuts pretty tightly, making it travel-friendly and airtight. At the bottom of the tube. there is a colored sticker. If I am not wrong, I think the idea was to match the sticker with the lipstick shade so it is easy to pick without opening the tube but the colors are not accurate at all. You get 4 grams of product and the lipstick comes in many gorgeous and vibrant shades.

Swatches (Before & After):
Swatches are taken on the skin directly from the tube and shot in natural daylight.

Overall Experience:
First and most, I love the packaging for Misslyn Lipsticks, their feel, weight, and quality is pretty high for the price.

196 Dragon Fruit is a fuschia pink shade and I drool over this color.
86 Cajun Pepper is a deep orangeish red shade. I wish I could but I cannot rock this shade on its own, to be honest. Apart from my personal preference, this is such a great shade.

Both lipsticks had a butter smooth application and are super moisturizing. They give full coverage without needing a lip liner or concealer for pigmented lips and I am clearly saying that the formula is highly pigmented. Some highly pigmented lipsticks can feel a little heavy on lips but these are so lightweight that you won't even notice them. They have a sheen to their finish but you can wear such lipsticks matte with a dab of translucent powder and yes they both look pretty when matte. Longevity is quite usual, they stay for good 3-4 hours before you see some fading and this is without eating any oily food.

I did not notice any feathering while I wore them without a lip liner which is always great when you are not bothered to wear one or just don't have enough time. And they also do not leave that nasty residue that some lipsticks leave in corner of the lips when the application has worn off during the day or while eating.

As for the scent, it is pretty mild to a minimum which for me is always a plus. They also do not enhance dryness on the lips but scrubbing and moisturizing the lips prior to a lipstick application is always a great idea to achieve smoother application.

Overall, I am absolutely in love with the whole package; formula, packaging, colors, and price won my heart. I loved that all the claims that Misslyn Cosmetics made for these lipsticks were true because I start my testing based on such claims.

If you like super moisturizing lipsticks with high pigmentation and sheen, you should give these a shot. I hope I have covered everything in this review, feel free to leave a comment if you have questions.
