If you have been following me on my Instagram @SahrishAdeel, you might know that I was on a shopping ban since July 2018 until January 2019 or until I end up using all my previously bought cosmetics and skincare at least once. Well, I actually did that very successfully but now I guess I am going on another shopping ban. guess why?
Story Time:
I went to Pakistan in December 2018 for my usual holiday vacation and also for my son's aqeeqah. Not that we do all the traditions and all but my mother wanted to give me some gift a huge gift. She almost bought me a gold and diamond jewelry item but luckily it slipped her mind.
Here is what I said and she just wanted to run into a wall really hard. :D I told her that I do not wear jewelry, especially real jewelry and it is just going to sit in my wardrobe until there is an event or something. Get me some highlighters instead, because I will be wearing every day, even while doing the dishes. haha!! She literally thought I was crazy but ended up handing over me the cash instead of a big gift but did actually bring that pretty Ghost gift set that you see in the photo.
I didn't spend all the money on the makeup, saved about half of it because that is what you do when you are a parent. phew!
Anyways, let's see what I got. I am going to write the list of brand names down instead of writing all the names of the products. This post is to show you what I got instead of reviews, prices and links post because more in-depth posts will be here in the near future. Prices may or may not be exact in this post but I will write an estimate. Accurate prices will be posted in review posts.
- Beautify By Amna - I ordered their blush palette and a deal from the website. I actually had extra products when the parcel arrived in Pakistan but I gave some duplicates to my sister to try. All of the products costed me about 10,000 pkr.
- Zay Beauty - Ordered all of their launched (till December 2018) products. Costed me about 5-6k pkr.
- Whimsy Beauty - This brand is owned by one of my very dear blogger buddy. She was so kind as to send me some PR samples but ordering from her brand was on my wishlist so I ordered two jars of goodness. Costed me about 2k pkr.
- Junaid Jamshed - Got four products for about 4-5k.
- Masarrat Misbah - Got their highly raved foundation and lipsticks. Costed me about 4k pkr.
- Ghost - This gorgeous bath and body gift set was a gift.
- Soap & Glory - This one was a gift too and indeed a very good one.
- Luscious Cosmetics - I ordered their mystery box containing ten products. I got it for 2500 pkr.
- TT Cosmetics - Ordered their highly raved highlighter for 1400 pkr.
- Clean & Clear - The damage for this one was 500-600 pkr. I needed this, didn't want it.
- Rivaj Cosmetics - Picked this up for 300-400 pkr.
- Medora - Emergency purchase for an event. 120pkr approximately.
- Caresse - Sponge nail polish remover. No idea about the price.
