Since my June 2013 haul, all I did was avoid buying anymore makeup and saving up as much as possible. Look what I got from my saving of several weeks and not to forget my precious Eidi.
Hauls are no doubt always favorite kind of posts of all of you and I myself love to know what my fellow bloggers buy and use. It generally gives us an idea to build our wishlists. This time, I have more like a color-less haul as in no eyeshadows, lipsticks or blushers. Since June, I wanted to get my hands on Real Techniques brushes and some Queen Helene products and then I wanted some high quality but easy-on-pocket concealers/bases/finishing powders. I literally did not buy a single makeup product since my last haul post (also because the junk of untouched makeup haunted me in nights) and then came Eid-ul-fitr and I took a part of that Eidi and some of my hard earned money to finally invest in some brushes and along with that, I got my hands on some other products too. Let's see what I got;
NYX Cosmetics |
Jordana Cosmetics |
Queen Helene |
Real Techniques |
The list;
- Full Coverage Concealers - NYX Cosmetics
- Cocoa Butter Natural Facial Scrub - Queen Helene
- Mud Pack Masque - Queen Helene
- Liquid Foundations - Jordana Cosmetics
- Forever Flawless Pressed Powders - Jordana Cosmetics
- Starter Set - Real Techniques
- Core Collection - Real Techniques
- Travel Essentials - Real Techniques
- Powder Brush - Real Techniques
- Expert Face Brush - Real Techniques
- Blush Brush - Real Techniques
- Setting Brush - Real Techniques
- Miracle Complexion Sponge - Real Techniques
I will review all of these products in my future posts. If you need a particular product reviews sooner, just leave a comment and I will try my best to publish it asap. At the moment, I am using most of these brushes and I am quiet pleased with the results. Jordana's powder is also pretty great and can easily be compared to any heavy on pocket product. I am really excited about trying that sponge by Real Techniques as I have seen people comparing it to Beauty Blender. -fingers crossed-
I always feel most comfortable while spending on brushes because I know they will not expire and I have experienced that this investment also gives good results and improves your skills dramatically. Trust me when I say this, brushes can change the results dramatically depending on their quality.
Where to buy these; In Malaysia you can get all of these products from Mesmerize - a new Facebook store. They ship to Malaysia but can also arrange shipping to other countries.
In Pakistan, you can get Real Techniques brushes from Comfys and there are many pages who take orders for these brands on regular basis so just search a bit. And globally, you can get these brands on major drugstores, superstores and online from their respective websites. For Jordana and NYX, I would say you can go for Cherry Culture but their shipping is a bit higher if you want to pay for FedEx.
I hope you have enjoyed my haul. Let me know if you want me to review any particular product earlier and also tell me if you are using any of these products. I would love to know your experience.
Don't forget to check out my previous haul posts.
