Capri, Pakistan’s most historic beauty and personal care brand of choice introduces the inspiring Ayesha Omar as their Brand Ambassador.

Having started a journey with Mehreen Raheal and her story of success earlier this year, Capri continues to honour women who inspire and motivate, with the introduction of Ayesha Omar as a Brand Ambassador.

Speaking about her new role as Brand Ambassador for Capri Ayesha said “I am delighted to be able to share my story with all Pakistani women and I am honoured that my life and work reflect Capri’s values of inspiration and motivation. From my experience, women who are extremely dynamic are often not given many inroads or encouragement into using such talent. With Capri’s platform and encouragement, I hope I am able to work with other women in the country to capture confidence, beauty and the realisation of their dreams.”

Capri Brand Ambassador

Ayesha Omar has made her mark in the Pakistani television industry as one of the country’s most widely recognized and popular media personalities. With a regional distinction in Advanced Level Arts and a place on the honor roll throughout her years at the prestigious National College of Art; Ayesha was artistic from a very early age with a passion to achieve the highest possible in her field through her sheer determination, spirit and drive.

Nursing an early passion for music, Ayesha first appeared on television as a VJ on Indus Music and then at MTV Pakistan, instantly likeable to her young audiences. She continued to work as a VJ and as a Producer for five years after which she started acting and hosting various shows for national television channels simultaneously. A multi-faceted media personality, Ayesha has also achieved distinction as a print model and quickly became a favorite with the fashion industry. This Capri Brand Ambassador was further selected to represent Pakistan in Abu Dhabi for the Chapal Cup Cricketing series and was also selected to represent Pakistan at the First African International Film Festival.
Having achieved success in acting, hosting and modeling, Ayesha continues to push her boundaries with new and exciting challenges and to this end is currently also pursuing a career in music. She ventured into this domain by lending her vocals to the original soundtracks of popular drama television serials and in 2011 she performed a solo track by the renowned poet Faiz Ahmed Faiza at a coveted Excellence Awards ceremony. She is now all set to launch her very own album of music in October 2011.
Creative and entrepreneurial, Ayesha has also co-founded a clothing line Ayesha-Anoushey, with fellow VJ Anoushey Ashraf in collaboration with the multi-brand store Labels in Karachi.
