Elissance Paris Mascara Volume Intense - Review & Swatches

Not every makeup product works as it has been advertised. Sometimes it is because of individual differences / human error but sometimes its the other way around. Today I will be sharing my experience about this Mascara Volume Intense by Elissance Paris.

With the lash-amplifying fine microfibers, each lash is volumized and lengthened. Lashes are wrapped in new generation deep black pigments that create lush, weightless yet vivid and intense look. Extra coating provides long-lasting effects.

Vibrant and intense. A definite must.

Ultra Black Pigment For A Deep Black Shade. Fine Nylon Fibers To Transform Voluminous Lashes, And Film-Forming Polymers, Providing Extra Water Resistance For Anti-Smudge And Long-Lasting Glamour. Paraben-Free.

Product Description & Packaging:

This travel friendly [ Bite-Sized ] mascara comes in a transparent plastic tube with a twist on plastic cap. The formula is gel like and dries quickly upon application. The tube contains 6.6 ml of product.

Overall Experience:
A cute and travel friendly packaging with a medium-sized, suitable for upper and lower lashes, wand. If I compare the results with the name 'Mascara Volume Intense'; Yes, it is a mascara but No, it does not give volume. As for the intensity goes, you can certainly see a change in my eyelash appearance [I applied two coats].

This mascara is more like one that grooms your eyelashes. If I use this mascara over curled lashes, it keeps the curl in place for the whole day but on its own, it won't lift up the lashes. Longevity is pretty good as well and it stays on me until I take it off. This mascara is not water proof but is quite sweat resistant.

The formula have a scent which some of you might find intense but it goes away as soon as you apply the product over your lashes. The best thing I liked about this product is that I can even use it to set my brows as it does not clump at all even with two - three coats. I also found the formula towards the dry side but since it was working okay, I assume it came to me in working condition and since it is a bit dry, the formula is really light to use in everyday routine, specially for people who are not used to to mascaras.

Overall, this mascara is great if you are looking for something suitable for everyday routine where you don't have to worry about any clumpy lashes or raccoon-eyes-upon-application due to a liquidy / creamy formula. But it is not your cup of tea if you are into volume and you bought the mascara by reading the description at the packaging.
