Althea Korea Exclusive Products With Minimalist Design - Are they worth the hype? [Quick Reviews]

I don't usually join ambassador programs because not every brand is comfortable with bloggers being too honest and my blog is based on honesty. I do not believe in bashing other (brands/products) but if something doesn't work for me as it claims to, I say it openly.

With Althea, the story is totally different. I do get free products to try and I also get free credits on their website to even pick the products that I want to try and also to experience the shopping process on their website BUT I also get to be completely honest with my reviews. They gave me a free hand and I cannot be more grateful. This is something that I wanted to share with you all because these things are possible only with your support and love. ❤️ ⠀

Now let me talk about these products quickly!

Petal Velvet Powder (3g) - RM 16:

They sent me this magic product in three shades; Translucent, Warm Beige & Pink Lavender (PL was limited edition) and I absolutely love the formula. I end up reaching for warm beige the most because it matched with my skin tone and gives me a sheer and smooth coverage on days when I don't want to wear a foundation. Moreover, this formula feels super velvety and soft on the skin. It keeps my combination/oily skin matte for longer times and works well for humid and hot weather of Malaysia.

Petal Velvet Sunaway (55ml) - RM 43:

This is by far, hands down, my MOST FAVORITE SUNSCREEN.  😍 It doesn't have that typical intense scent of sunscreens, there no sticky feeling or white caste after the application. This product also feels very lightweight on the skin. I use it regularly and also under my makeup. I cannot wait to share my detailed review on this sunscreen because it has made me start loving the sunscreens.  😍 

Contains SPF 50 and PA+++ (PA+ means your sunscreen or cosmetic provides some protection against UVA rays, PA++ provides moderate protection, and PA+++ offers the best protection of the three.)

Milk Peel Cream Mask (50ml) - RM 36:

This product is supposed to have peeling properties because it contains AHA and BHA extracts. It is also supposed to work as a bubble mask within 60 seconds to give you an instant radiant glow and bouncy skin. 

Honestly, I fell in love with this product after the first use because my skin felt tighter, pores looked smaller and I was glowing. It was so noticeable that my husband said 'looks like you lost a few years of your age.' I am not crazy about looking younger than what I am but that compliment from a man meant that the product worked in some good way. But over a few weeks, I felt like this product was working more like a deep cleanser and the peeling action was not noticeable. I do use a glycolic acid toner so maybe that is the reason that I didn't see dramatic results afterward but I still enjoy using it. However, unlike the other two products I mentioned earlier, I wouldn't be keen on repurchasing it once I run out.

Overall I think that cosmetics and skincare range by Althea is really affordable and most products actually work. I also love their minimalist design but I would love to see instructions and ingredients written in the English language on their packaging.
