Today I have another product by Color Studio Professional, one of my favorite makeup brands from Pakistan that now ships worldwide. Today I have a review and swatches of their Pro Blush Palette Vol 1 that includes five blusher and three bronzer shades.

Pro Blush Palette comes in a very sleek packaging with five blush shades and three bronzer shades. The palette shuts with a magnetic clasp and looks super sleek. It is a great thing to have eight blushers and bronzer in a slim book size packaging and helps saving space both for storage and also when you are traveling.
I could not find the shade names on the packaging and also the amount of product in each pan but I could find the names of the shades on the website.
Texture/Pigmentation/Application:
All the pans have a very smooth texture and they are highly pigmented. I literally dab my brush once for a nice and natural blush effect or a Broner effect. You can go heavy with this palette because all the shades are buildable and they blend very smoothly. However, if you try and swirl your brush in any of the pans, the powder can make a mess and in my personal opinion, there is no need to swirl in the pans anyways because of the pigmentation.
Finish:
All the shades look skinlike and not cakey or powdery at all because they are very finely milled. Four of the shades are matte and four of them are ever so slightly shimmer (I will be mentioning that below)
Longevity:
If left untouched, these last on me for a couple of hours. Wear time is longer over a foundation but I tend to skip foundation in everyday makeup and since I keep my blusher and bronzer very minimal, I feel the need to touch up in 2-3 hours and hot/humid weather of Malaysia can have a hand in that but over a foundation and then setted with a setting spray, these blush last for longer hours.
Swatches:
The swatches are taken with studio light. The shades in the swatch photo look exactly how they look on my skin in real life but different screens may show the colors differently. The shimmer is so subtle that my camera could not capture it but it does add a glow effect to the skin.

Price Point:
£45.00 (about pkr 7000) for eight shades is not bad and visually, the quantity looks okay too.
Final Thought:
I wouldn't say that I always reach for this palette when I am in a rush but I know I will be carrying it with me on my next visit to Pakistan. I absolutely love each and every shade from the palette because they are all wearable and have different tones. The texture and application processes is a charm and wear time is decent too.
Overall, go for this palette if you are a professional or a makeup hoarder or a blogger who would rather swatch a palette than separate shades 😁 but if you want to stick to one or two shades for everyday makeup, I will suggest getting the separate compacts for these shades. If I am not wrong, the compacts have more product and are currently on sale (I will include links below).
Cost & Availability:
Pro Blush Palette Vol 1 costs £45.00 (about pkr 7000) and single compacts costs £12.00 / pkr 1200 but are currently on sale for pkr 840 (you can buy them here). Color Studio Pro ships worldwide and have free shipping options available. Check out their full range here. CSP is also available in Pakistan at all major cosmetics/department stores.
Are you a palette kind of person or do you prefer to buy single compacts for blushers and bronzers? Let me know in the comments.

The shades are really pretty but for me I probably would get a few separate pans.
ReplyDeleteI like the shades in the blush palette. Wish they didn't have to use carmine tho
