(Storytime) I have been wearing false lashes ever since I started blogging and I have experimented with all kinds of eyelash glues. Some were too sticky, some did not have the ability to keep the bond for longer hours and some just took ages to dry until I stopped trying and started wearing layers of mascaras so I don't have to bother with eyelashes. As much as I was happy with this routine, I always felt the need to have something that is quick and easy to use and I won't hesitate to use so I can add that oomph to my looks. Some of you might know that I was on a long blogging break and since I came back, I didn't post a single makeup look because all my looks lacked false lashes and even though I still have naturally long lashes, the makeup game is so up now that I had to give some new lashes and glue a shot. I must say that I was a little scared of messing up or maybe the product won't work for me as much as it has worked for others but I was surprised with the results I got without too many attempts or practice. (storytime ends)

Overall Experience:
My overall experience is based on the claims the brand makes about both of these products and also if I personally felt comfortable and satisfied using these products or not.

Before I talk about the actual product, let me praise the gorgeous packaging for both; the eyelashes and the glue. I loved shooting both of these and they don't just look good, the packaging for both is high quality and you would want to show it off at your vanity. Now to the review!

Let's talk about the False Lashes first, I got them in style called BFF. They are super long and full of volume, yet super lightweight. The band is really thin and flexible, making it easy to mold according to the eye structure. Also, since the band is soft enough, the whole process of sticking the edges on to the skin becomes easy and the edges do not lift up at all.

I had to cut mine a little so they could fit me perfectly meaning the band length is pretty good for any eye size. As for wear period, I am sure they will last me a long time but this factor also depends on how carefully you use the lashes. I hardly blend my natural lashes with false ones using a mascara because I am lazy to clean the falsies after every use. I just make sure that I have curled and prepped my natural lashes good enough before putting the falsies on.

To make sure that your false eyelashes last a long time:
  • You should remove as much glue as possible after every use
  • If you have used mascara to merge your natural lashes with falsies, make sure to remove the mascara with makeup remover after every use
  • Store them in the box which the lashes came in originally or use any container that you might already have on hand
As for the Companion Eyelash Glue, I don't have anything but only good things to say. The application wand is really well made, pointy and gives you precise application. The latex-free formula applies smoothly and starts to get tacky within a few seconds. The drying time is fast so you do not have to hold your lashes in place for too long. It dries clear and keeps your lashes on throughout the day.

As I mentioned in my storytime that an eyelash glue plays a huge role for me, I know I will be reaching for this one in future.

Overall, I am really impressed and happy with both of the products. False Lashes look and feel amazing and the Companion Eyelash Glue has proven to be a true companion for my falsies by doing a perfect job.

  1. You look so pretty in these! I don't think I'd ever wear false lashes because they would distract me--I'm weird that way. Plus I just work from home, so there wouldn't be much point. I have friends who wear these though!

  2. These look really great I still can't apply fake lashes since they make my eyes feel weird but maybe that's how it's supposed to be don't know. I will try and apply them often to be more comfortable.

  5. My lashes are horrible. I would love to be able to wear something like this. I just can't. My eyes, and eye lids are so sensitive. It would just be too much.

  6. My allergies have made me itch my eyes and caused some of my eyelashes to fall out. I was looking at false eyelashes the other day. I need to give them a try.

  10. I always wondered how false eye lashes were used and your post a lot into perspective. I am not a fan of makeup and I just make do with kaajal. But I have a lot of friends who would be interested in your post. Will share with them.
