Nail Polishes by Profusion - Review & Swatches

Today I have Profusion on my blog with their six gorgeous shades. One thing I can't have enough in my nail polish collection is variety of mono toned shades because I know I can mix/layer them with my other glittery polishes to create unlimited manicures.

Profusion Nail Polish:
A new way to glaze your nails with brilliant, chip-proof shine. Profusion Cosmetics widest assortment of nail colors takes you from classic to cutting-edge with just a swipe of the brush. Each long-lasting shade is packaged in travel-ready 0.41 oz bottles, so you can tote several of your favorite shades for quick changes on the go.

Product Description & Packaging:
These nail polishes come in transparent glass bottles with plastic grips and contains 11 ml of product. The quality of material for this packaging is quite good for the price. However, the bottoms of the bottles were quite annoying, I wish they were in level.

Shade Description:

  • Sand Pearl is a creamy pale yellow shade that appear a bit matte after it dries.
  • Honey is a cool tones literally a honey shade.
  • Gold is a gorgeous brownish-gold shades that appears as if you have melted gold on your nails.
  • Ocre is a bright orange shade with lots and lots of golden shimmer.
  • Goldiva is a stunnigly gorgeous red shade. This is not an usual bright red shade where you can see a dark pink shade acting as if it is red. This shade has a maroonish-orange hint to it and I love it.
  • Midnight is a pastel blue shade.

Overall Experience:
Who does not like owning every possible nail polish shade in a nail polish line? But heavy costs and sometimes the formula do not let you go after your dreams, more like MHD (Makeup Hoarding Disorder).

With Profusion, you won't have to worry neither about the cost nor about the formula. I still cannot believe how they have made this so cheap. I own nail polishes by MUA Cosmetics and they cost same as Profusion ones but they don't even have half of the quantity of what you get in Profusion polishes.

Anyways, after much blabbing, here are my final views about these polishes. I totally adore all of these shades and the shape of the bottle even though the bottom of bottle looks weird but oh well, take it as abstract art. Where the price is a plus, the formula is so great and easy to work with. All of the shades went fully opaque in two thin coats and they dry really quickly. Once the polish is dry and gets hard, it does not chip for over five days. With my daily routine where I do every house chore by myself, this staying time is great. I also did not notice any bubbling which is a must for inexpensive polishes.

About the staining part, Goldiva gives such a bad stain which won't go for weeks so better wear a base coat for this one. Rest of the shades did not give any trouble.

The only problem I found was the cutting of brushes. They are good to apply the polish and work great on long and short nails. I did not have to clean up any edges for these swatches but those brushes do not have same cut and even one of them (Goldiva) had bristles peaking out though a little trim made it perfect. I can say that I had-cut my nail polishes brushes, haha!

Overall, I loved these polishes. They are highly suitable for anyone who is always in a hurry or don't have time for the nail polish to dry. Also, people who are looking for a budget friendly nail polish range that does not chip quickly should give this brand a shot. Oh, and out of all these shades; I love love love Goldiva. I have never seen such a rich red shade before.

Cost & Availability:
Each Profusion nail polish costs pkr 150 and is available for online purchase at Beauty Arena. I tried to search online but I could not find any website for this brand so I have no idea if these polishes are available outside Pakistan or not.

Did you like these polishes? Which shade is your favorite?

Thank you for your time.
