Bag of Love - May 2013 Edition - Review

We have all been seeing beauty boxes for quite sometime now but have you seen Bag of Love yet?

Bag of Love - Introduction:
Bag of Love is a Malaysian based business. Just like other beauty boxes, it carries regular sample and deluxe sized samples from various brands along with a bunch of coupons. But unlike other beauty boxes, it comes in a bag which can be used over and over again. Also, they change the bag every month.

Dove Beauty Nourishing Body Wash
Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules
Kerastase Anti-Frizz Masque & Anti-Frizz Shampoo
Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender Body Lotion & Hand Cream
Eternity Calvin Klein Perfume Sample

Overall Experience:
I received the package very next day when it was shipped. It was in a perfect condition and everything was nicely sealed. I totally loved the quality of the bag; it has one big compartment and the zipper is quite good as well.

Products that I got were (I will also mention the prices for specific quantities so you would know the worth of this bag);
  • Dove Beauty Nourishing Body Wash - 200 ml (RM 5.2)
  • Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules - 7 pieces (RM 37.2)
  • Kerastase Anti-Frizz Masque - 15ml x 2 (RM 14.5)
  • Kerastase Anti-Frizz Smoothing Shampoo - 30ml (RM 9.35)
  • Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Cream - 25g (RM 19.5)
  • Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender Body Lotion - 5ml (RM 1.8)
  • Eternity Calvin Klein Perfume Sample - 1.2ml x 2 (RM 10)
  • Basic Manicure at Amante - RM 38
  • Coupons for Eternity Calvin Klein and Crabtree & Evelyn
So according to me, the products I got in the bag worth RM 135.55 + that traveling bag they came in. And if you are I am never gonna use these little sachets kind of person, it worth about RM 120.

I am already using few of the products and I am totally in love with the hand cream already. I personally love using sachets when I am travelling. I really like to keep sealed sachets in my bag all the time because I am just addicted to moisturizing my face, hands and feet and I have had a really bad experience with lotion bottles even though they were meant for travelling.

Overall, I am really happy with this service. I take a beauty box, in this case beauty bag as a chance to try various brands that I might not try otherwise. Yes I will never spend RM 78 on a hand cream but now that I have tried it and I know that it is worth the money, I will happily buy it when I will need it. Thought I might not use Elizabeth Arden's capsules since they are to reduce fine lines and I don't have any yet neither do I want to send an open invitation to aging this soon.

Cost & Availability:
Bag of Love's monthly subscription is RM 39.90. They also offer more deals that you can check on their website. Join their Facebook Page to stay updated about latest updates and news.
