Blue & Red Smokey Makeup Look feat. Makeup Geek Eye Shadows

The moment I tried Makeup Geek Eye Shadows (review & swatches here), I knew I will be using them over and over again. Honestly speaking, I wanted to mix all the other eye shadows by Makeup Geek with Corrupt, one of the highly pigmented eye shadows I have ever used. In this post, you will see the full makeup look and what products I used to achieve this.

I did this makeup look on my son's 4th birthday. Since it was a dinner party, I wanted something heavy on the eyes and really light on the rest of the face, mostly because a BBQ party in hot weather results in lots of sweating. Anyways, let's go to the products now and then the final makeup look.

Full face makeup look

I took these pictures in really low light so bear with me. My eye makeup lasted for more than 10 hours but rest of the face started to tone down in about 3-4 hours and I remember having a quick touch up of Mineral Hygienics' Finishing Powder in Matte (review here), such a life saver. It truly keeps the oiliest skin matte and help keeping everything in place for longer hours.
