Overall Experience:
When I received this set, I honestly thought that the brushes were way too small, cute but small. I have used mini brushes from some brands before and I hardly reach for them or travel with them, mainly because I prefer to use my regular brushes for touch ups. Once I started using these, I actually liked them more and more but to be honest, I ended up liking most of the brushes for other uses than the company intended to make them for. Let me tell you about each brush as for what uses they were made for and what (in my opinion) they worked better for. I will go from biggest to small brush.

Mini face brush; this one is the fluffiest and is intended to use for powders. I used it exactly for that and it works great for face powder, blush, and broner (if you pinch it to make it flat). This brush has soft bristles and works great for buffing the product into the skin. For blushers and bronzers, the brush works great for blending.
- Mini foundation brush; as the name states, the brush is intended for foundation but the description on the website says that it is to use with liquid concealers (am I getting confused and not understanding something here?). Foundation with this brush is not for me but I couldn't like it for concealers either. The bristles are longer than what I like for concealers. However, I found that it works great for powder highlighters.
Mini eyeshadow brush; obviously intended to use with eyeshadows but I hardly touch up my eyeshadows when I am on the go. Instead, I loved this for concealer. Not just touch ups but also actually applying the concealer during overall makeup. The bristles are soft but dense enough to apply and blend the concealer.
Mini angled brush; intended to use for eyeliner or brows but I couldn't make it work for eyeliner because this brush is kind of thick and bristles are not dense/stiff enough to apply eyeliner but this works really great for brows. It works better with powder product and blends the product really nicely.

All the brushes passed the wash test and that too, many times without shedding any hair after the second wash. Only two brushes shed a hair or two during first wash which is pretty normal for brushes.

Overall, loving this Pro Go Mini Brush Set and if you are someone who is looking for an affordable and travel-friendly brush set that will not cover much space in your bag, you should go for this one.

    1. When I was trying this, RT's trio was all over my mind. I am also pretty loyal with RT as I always find myself reaching for Real Techniques' brushes but this one was good as well.

  2. I think I'd prefer big ones, even if they're not as cute. But, the brand seems really promising!! :)

    1. I also prefer bigger brushes but the one I used for concealer from this set is really good. MUR has some pretty great products, especially their highlighters and lip products.

  3. I love the idea of mini brushes for travel. I think I’d have the same issue with the eye liner brush not being stiff enough, I like your alternate ideas for it’s use!

  10. Great review. For me I don't really use specific brush size when applying makeup. I always like to use the soft feel brushes. :)

  11. They are a bargain! I was expecting them to be expensive but thats is a really good price. I never use the brush as it was intended, I always find I like them for different things. These seem like a great set and at a very reasonable price.
