Eclissare Color Eclipse Lipsticks by Borghese - Review & Swatches

I had been away for really long and if you have been following me on Facebook, you must already know the reason. I have finally managed to re-start the blogging and hopefully, I will be consistent now. Today, I have  Eclissare Color Eclipse Lipsticks by Borghese on my blog. I can say that I have used these lipsticks for a long time to be able to give an in depth review.

Eclissare Color Eclipse Lipsticks by Borghese:
Vibrant, color-saturated lip crème. Multi-dimensional infusion of pigment and pearl for a fuller lip illusion. Shine, smooth, creamy, radiant and available in 12 tantalizing, color-rich shades.

Product Description & Packaging:
These lipsticks come in a very sturdy packaging and they have some nice weight to them. The closure is also really good but unlike any clasp or magnetic closure that we usually see in lipsticks. I can tell you that these are pretty travel friendly. Each tube contains 3.7 grams of product and they come in 12 shades. Shades I will be reviewing today are Edge & Swoon.

Swatches:
These swatches are taken on bare skin directly from the tube in natural daylight.

Overall Experience:
Edge is a chocolate brown shade with a grey tone to it. It is my absolute favorite shade for winters but my love for this shade didn't stop me wearing it in all-year-round hot/humid weather of Malaysia. This shade has a slight sheen to it.

Swoon is a glittery orange/gold shade. It is gorgeous on its own but since I am not into glittery shades, this lipstick was not loved by me except for review purposes.

Both of these lipsticks are really moisturizing, do not emphasize the dryness of lips and do not feather out. Moreover, longevity is pretty good and they stay on my for over three hours without eating oily foods. The scent in these lipsticks is very mild but is surely not fruity, citrus-y or too appealing, if you are too into such scents. It is more like that they forgot to add in any scent at all which I don't mind, honestly.

The $25 price tag truly justifies the quality of the product and that heavy & sturdy packaging.

Overall, Swoon couldn't make it to my top list only because of shade preference but Edge won my heart and is still one of my favorite shades. I am also a sucker for packaging and this range has full points for that as well. This is a great range of lipsticks so do check them out.
