Garnier Skin Naturals Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream - Review, Swatches and Before & After

Product Description & Packaging:
This BB Cream comes in a slim and tall tube, oh-the-elegance! It has a mildly scented formula with a runny consistency and contains 40 ml of product. This BB Cream is specially designed for combination to oily skin types.

Swatches (Before & After):
These swatches are taken without any primer underneath. On face, I moisturized my skin prior to the application and only one thin layer has been applied. Please excuse my weird side-pose but I hope you can see how a sheer finish has minimized dark circles, redness and spots.

Overall Experience:
I have been trying BB Cream for quite sometime. Honestly speaking, I tried one by Maybelline last year but that turned orange and greasy on my in merely 15-30 minutes. I totally thought that I will never be able to try BB Creams in my life but could I really stop myself from trying more BB Cream? Well, let;s not waste anymore time and see if those claims are true.

This product has a very runny consistency and I have never had to press the tube to get the product out for a sheer coverage. Whenever I open it, there is always enough product (lets say about three-four drops) on its mouth that is just enough for a good everyday coverage. I did not mind the consistency after I first applied it as it is really easy to blend with fingers and brush. I would suggest using a kabuki/fluffy brush and an usual foundation brush can leave steaks. Mostly I apply it with my fingers but sometimes, I use Retractable Kabuki Brush by Ronasutra, which gives me a flawless application. On top of that, I often set this BB Cream with 2-in-1 Foundation & Powder by Ronasutra since it has a nice and sheer finish as well. But yeah, in everyday routine, I don't set the cream at all because once it is dried, it gives a semi-matte finish which stays for long hours.

It is build-able, stays for good 5-7 hours and does not turn orange on me. My nose tends to get shiny in about 2-3 hours which for my, without any setting powder is great. I have also noticed that if the cream is dry (no sweating) it does not transfer much on cell phone, hand etc. I have found it nicely water/sweat resistant which makes it good for hot weathers.

Yes, it clearly minimizes dark circles and spot but does not cover them completely. However, I noticed complete coverage for my redness even with light application. The major point for has been dry patches lately and I have noticed that if my face is properly moisturized and exfoliated, it does not enhance any dry patches at all. I believe that products which are formulated for oily skin types, absorb oil that our glands secrete all the time so there is a tendency to have dry skin/patches if you do not exfoliate and moisturize your skin in daily routine. I did not notice this before but may be aging is doing its magic on my skin now. I am really glad that it does not set into fine lines under my eyes even if I do not set it with a powder.

I have been using it for a month but I haven't noticed any reduced pores. I still have same sized pores that I had a month ago but overall, I can say I have less blemishes. I am not sure if this is my diet or anything else but I have also noticed that discoloration under my eyes have reduced dramatically since I am using this product and I haven't been using any other product under my eyes except for this BB Cream.

Shade I was sent to try was Light and it was actually a bit lighter for me but I managed to balance it out with the powder. But just two shades in such a nice product is not fine. Garnier should come up with a whole range of shades for this BB Cream.

Overall, I am really loving this BB Cream and so far it has been the lightest BB Cream I have tried. Everyone looking for a BB Cream with light texture and good coverage should give it a try. This is one of my go-to products and I am definitely going to buy it again.

    1. It looks like the BB Cream is oxidizing on you in a strange way and may be the formula is just not suitable for your skin type. You can try using a primer underneath to help with this issue or you can try a yellow correcting powder on top to help with the grey/ashy result. If a foundation or a bb cream changes color on my after some time, I personally keep a tinted compact powder that matches my skin tone but I just move on from the product because I personally know that not every product works same for everybody. I hope this is helpful.
